Aggie Sat Club
Project Overview:
Design cube sat spacecraft capable of intercepting and triangulating incident location of radio signals sent between spacecrafts and ground stations.
Roles:
TMS (Thermal, Mechanisms and Structures) team member
Created a complete CAD model of the spacecraft
Performed thermal studies in SolidWorks to calculate heat rejection properties of spacecraft
COM (Communications) team member
Designed and tested antennas and transceivers
Modeled the communication cone of satellite and ground station to calculate probability of transmission success
Integrate the communication system with all others systems physically and in software.
